Humanities Spring Archaeology Boot Camp  (HSABC) 2024 will run from August 4th  to August 25th and cost  3,600 euros. The cost includes everything except the occasional meal out (usually 1 or 2 per week) in wonderful (and inexpensive) Italian pizzerias. We may also have one dinner out at the Lake in a very pretty Italian trattoria (also not an expensive meal). All students must come to Boot Camp with insurance or buy our HSABC policy  (c. 200 USD).

HSABC offers work-study both before and after the HSABC session. It is lots of fun and an excellent way for students to extend their stay in Italy, while saving money for their families.  HSABC students become assistant counselors at our HS Kids: Actors, Sculptors and Cooks full-immersion English program, for Italian kids from 7 – 16. We try to organize work-study so that it a learning experience for HSABC students. HS Kids has theme weeks on botany, mythology and Shakespeare, which include study-trips. We work with HSABC students to come up with a schedule that suits their interests.  For each week they do, they receive a 100 euro reduction for HSABC. For example. If students choose to do 3 weeks of work-study (which in addition to the 3 weeks of HSABC,  makes for 6 weeks total in Italy, immersing themselves in Italian life and culture) their HSABC tuition will be 3,300 euros, which covers all costs for the entire period, except, as mentioned above, the occasional dinner out.
